The Live Your Dream Program
The Live Your Dream Scholarship
The Live Your Dream project was established to provide music scholarships to talented high school seniors in St. Louis, Missouri who have a passion for music and education. Our intention is to help youth, particularly those who otherwise might not have an opportunity to connect with the music industry, achieve their music career dreams through production, business development, and overall personal growth. “We show students how to create a goal and aim for it, We give them a platform for embarking on an artistic career so their talents and gifts can be developed and exhibited.”

The 2016 Live Your Dream Scholarship Showcase
It was Plato that said that “music gives wings to the mind.” Youth from the most disadvantaged communities and school districts in St. Louis are losing opportunities to grow wings……but the Kwame Foundation is committed to ensuring that young people still have opportunities to study music and pursue their dreams. Studies have shown that music training improves brain functioning and the benefits of music education are long lasting.
The Kwame Foundation’s Live Your Dream Showcase raises funds for college scholarships for young adults interested in studying the arts and provides an opportunity to showcase the region’s most talented young adults. The 2016 Live Your Dream Showcase will be held on May 5, 2016 at 6:30pm at Central Visual and Performing Arts School, 3125 South Kingshighway Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63107. Please join us for a special evening that promises to give wings to the next generation of Beethoven’s, Mozart’s, Miles Davis’, Ella Fitzgerald’s or maybe even a Misty Copeland.
